Network Security Engineer

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Network Security and Cybersecurity, including experience with firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and security monitoring tools.
• Proficiency in Network Administration and Network Engineering, with hands-on experience configuring routers, switches, and other network devices in enterprise environments.
• Solid understanding of Information Security principles, standards, and best practices, including risk management and secure architecture design.
• Experience with incident response, vulnerability assessment, and security hardening of network and infrastructure components.
• Familiarity with cloud and hybrid network environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms) and their security controls is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, or similar are highly beneficial.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative, on-site team environment.
