Network Security Analyst

The position will be responsible for ensuring the security of our network infrastructure. This role involves monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security events, as well as implementing measures to protect our systems from potential threats.

Job Description

• Monitor network traffic for security events and incidents using security tools and technologies
• Analyze security alerts and incidents to determine the cause and impact, and provide timely responses
• Implement and manage security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPNs
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses and recommend remediation
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configuration and deployment of network infrastructure
• Investigate and respond to security breaches, and develop incident response plans and procedures
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging security threats, trends, and technologies
• Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and incident reports
• Provide guidance and training to employees on security best practices and awareness
• Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)
  
  

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Proven experience in network security, with a strong understanding of network protocols, firewall management, and security technologies
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and security standards is preferred
• Willing to work onsite in Makati
