NOC Technician - UK Shift
Schedule: 24/7 schedule, requires weekends
Employment Type: Independent Contractor
Salary Range: Php 125,000 - Php 130,000 net (take-home pay) per month
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and punctual NOC Technician to join our UK-based client's global team. This role requires a motivated professional with strong user administration and network monitoring skills to support a diverse range of clients across Europe and the U.S.
The ideal candidate is highly reliable, fluent in English, comfortable in fast-paced environments, and capable of juggling multiple support priorities - especially under SLA pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to alerts from NOC and SOC systems, escalating issues as needed.
- Perform user administration tasks including account creation/deletion, mailbox management, file permission adjustments, and application access.
- Adhere strictly to SLAs, providing timely and accurate support ticket resolution.
- Coordinate with vendors and escalate issues appropriately using standardized processes.
- Maintain detailed documentation and follow set procedures for operational
consistency.
- Work closely with a distributed support team including 17 service desk engineers, senior engineers, and technical services staff.
- Participate in ongoing training and contribute to the team's operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in NOC/SOC environments and user administration support.
- Familiarity with platforms like Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Duo Mobile, Okta, and other access management tools.
- Comfortable with high-volume ticket queues and SLA-bound tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficient multitasker with a first-time-right mindset and problem-solving initiative.
- Deep understanding of escalation protocols and service desk operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Strong home office setup - desk (no kitchen/sofa setups), noise-free environment, and stable internet.
- Must be punctual; the client's team culture emphasizes strict time discipline (Early is on time, on time is late).
- Previous experience supporting U.S. or UK-based clients strongly preferred.
- Availability to work full-time, exclusively on this role.
- Familiarity with CRMs like Monday.com, Oddo, BreezeAway, or Fractal is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week | Exclusive to our client (not freelance/part-time/side hustle setup)
Work Schedule: 24/7, mostly morning shift Philippine time - requires working weekends
Salary Range: Php 120,000 - Php 130,000 take home per month
