Role Description This full-time, on-site Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer role is based in Taguig. The NOC Engineer monitors network performance, responds to alerts, and ensures high availability of systems and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving network incidents, providing technical support to internal and external stakeholders, and escalating complex issues when needed. The role also involves maintaining network documentation, performing routine checks, applying security best practices, and collaborating with other teams to optimize network reliability and security. The NOC Engineer contributes to continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and recommending preventive measures.

Qualifications

  • Strong Network Operations Center (NOC) experience, including monitoring tools and incident management.
  • Network Administration skills covering configuration, maintenance, and optimization of routers, switches, and related infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Technical Support, with the ability to diagnose and resolve network and system issues efficiently.
  • Knowledge of Network Security principles and practices, including firewalls, access controls, and vulnerability mitigation.
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP, LAN/WAN technologies, VPNs, and common networking protocols.
  • Ability to work in a 24/7 operations environment, including shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent) and prior experience in an IT or cybersecurity-focused organization are beneficial.
