Job Description

About the Role

You'll serve as the technical anchor of the Command Centre monitoring the health of enterprise systems, leading incident triage during major events, and driving operational excellence through observability, automation, and proactive monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor infrastructure, applications, and business services.
  • Act as the first technical escalation point for high-severity incidents (P1/P2).
  • Lead incident triage and coordination, ensuring timely communication and resolution.
  • Execute SOPs, escalation matrices, and recovery workflows.
  • Analyze alerts, logs, and events to detect anomalies and performance issues.
  • Perform event correlation and noise reduction with tool SMEs.
  • Validate alerts before escalating to resolver teams.
  • Operate and enhance monitoring and event management tools.
  • Maintain dashboards for service health, uptime, and availability.
  • Support tool integrations with observability and ITSM platforms.
  • Ensure critical services have full telemetry and business-impact visibility.
  • Collaborate with resilience and availability teams on uptime, MTTD, and MTTR reporting.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in IT Command Center, NOC, or operations monitoring.
  • Solid understanding of event & incident management processes.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure and application monitoring.
  • Understanding of automation and AIOps for event correlation and noise reduction.

Good-to-Have

  • Experience working in enterprise-scale environments.
  • Previous involvement in resilience, availability, or service reliability functions.
  • Familiarity with business service-level monitoring.
