The Network Liaison Associate acts as the point of contact between PGC and telecommunications service
providers, overseeing the availability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of telecom services across all
branches. This role ensures swift resolution of service incidents, optimizes telecom solutions, and
maintains strong vendor relationships to align with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Telecom Vendor Coordination
- Serve as the primary liaison between PGC and telecommunications vendors (ISPs, service providers).
- Monitor installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecom services across PGC branches.
- Ensure effective communication between internal stakeholders and external service providers.
Incident and Service Issue Management
- Respond to and resolve telecom-related service issues, including outages and data link failures.
- Escalate incidents with vendors to ensure swift resolution and minimal business disruption.
- Track and document resolution timelines, ensuring follow-ups until full issue closure.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain detailed records of telecom incidents, service requests, and resolutions.
- Generate and submit reports on telecom service performance, vendor efficiency, and cost optimization.
- Assist in analyzing service costs, identifying savings opportunities, and supporting business decisions.
Vendor and Contract Management
- Evaluate vendor performance and participate in discussions on improving service quality.
- Assist in vendor relationship management, fostering productive collaborations.
- Support procurement teams in assessing telecom contracts for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
Telecom Service Optimization and Technology Implementation
- Assess current telecom infrastructure and recommend improvements for efficiency and cost savings.
- Work with Telco Account Officer to implement enhancements to existing contracts and services.
- Research emerging telecom technologies that align with PGC's operational needs.
Background and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Business
- Administration, or related field.
- Must be knowledgeable in the requisition process for telecommunications services, including internet
- and related facilities.
- Certifications in Network Administration, ITIL, or Telecommunications Management (preferred but not
- required).
- Preferably 1year of experience in Administrative Support, Telecommunications, or an equivalent
- role.
