Job Title: Network Implementation Engineer (SDWAN / Cisco Meraki)

About the Role
We are seeking a Network Implementation Engineer with strong expertise in SDWAN, Cisco Meraki, and enterprise network deployment. This role involves configuring, installing, and supporting network infrastructure across multiple sites, ensuring seamless connectivity, operational stability, and excellent customer service.
Non‑Negotiable Skills
• Strong knowledge of Circuits, Ethernet, IDS, MPLS, LAN/WAN protocols (SNA, IP, V/IP)
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco Meraki Network Equipment (routers, switches, IOS)
• Proven experience troubleshooting Broadband, Ethernet, Cradlepoint configurations, and other telco issues in an SDWAN setup
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; technical institute degree/certificate or equivalent work experience also considered
• Network certifications preferred (CCNA, Meraki)
• 5+ years of work experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of Cisco Meraki equipment and network management tools
• Experience with Voice PBX, BCM, VOIP
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to document technical processes and procedures clearly
• Strong analytical, risk mitigation, negotiation, and vendor management skills
• Experience with event management concepts and tools preferred
• Knowledge of ITIL practices preferred
• Demonstrated interpersonal and customer service skills, including consensus building and facilitation
• Self‑starter with strong aptitude for learning and delivering quality results
Key Responsibilities
• Configure and deploy production routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and access points using the Meraki Dashboard
• Install and support network equipment across enterprise sites, ensuring proper configuration and performance
• Document and update network turnover, incidents, and resolutions in tracking tools
• Collaborate with Field Services, Service Desk, and internal support groups to identify and resolve network issues
• Work closely with business partners (e.g., Verizon, CenturyLink) to escalate and resolve service outages within SLAs
• Communicate high‑impact outages to field service managers and command center personnel via email notifications
• Support ongoing projects such as router/switch replacements, store turn‑ups/turn‑downs, wireless device upgrades, and configurations
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely and thorough resolution of network issues
• Respond to incidents via email, chat, and phone; analyze, fix, or escalate issues and follow up until resolution
• Monitor system health, review changes, and proactively drive improvements
