Network Engineer ( Security )

Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The Solutions Engineer – Security is responsible for the deployment, configuration, and technical support of network and endpoint security solutions provided by Tier 2 and Tier 3 technology partners. This role involves implementing, troubleshooting, and supporting a wide range of security technologies, including firewalls, email security, web security, endpoint protection, and related cybersecurity solutions, to ensure secure and reliable customer environments.

Key responsibilities include:

• Deploy, configure, and support network and endpoint security platforms based on customer requirements and best practices
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to security infrastructure during implementation and post-deployment phases
• Develop and present detailed technical documentation for customers, including:
• Customer Requirements Documents (CRD)
• Low-Level Design (LLD) documents
• Methods of Procedure (MOP)
• Network Implementation and Migration Plans
• As-Built documentation
• Design, execute, and present acceptance testing activities, including Hardware Acceptance Tests (HAT) and User Acceptance Tests (UAT)
• Collaborate closely with technology partner principals and Project Managers throughout project delivery and issue resolution
• Work with multiple vendor platforms and security technologies based on customer needs, scope, and solution preferences

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• At least 1 year of experience in deploying, administering, or troubleshooting security solutions
• CCNA certification is an advantage
• Practical knowledge of network and endpoint security solutions across multiple vendors and platforms
