Network Engineer
Experience
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in Enterprise Networking, with strong expertise in Routing & Switching.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure across Routing & Switching, Wireless, and Data Center environments.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switching platforms.
- Implement and support wireless networking solutions, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
- Manage and support VMware NSX environments, including Distributed Firewall (DFW) and network security policies.
- Participate in network implementation, migration, and infrastructure upgrade projects.
- Perform network troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable, and highly available network infrastructure.
- Maintain network documentation and ensure adherence to organizational standards and best practices.
Mandatory Skills
- Minimum 7 years of strong hands-on experience in Routing & Switching.
- Expert-level experience with Cisco Catalyst and Cisco Nexus platforms.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on implementation experience in Wireless Networking.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with VMware NSX, including:
- NSX Implementation
- Distributed Firewall (DFW)
- Firewall Policy Management
- Strong experience in network deployment and implementation projects.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Good to Have
- Working knowledge of Firewall technologies.
- Exposure to Load Balancers (F5, Citrix ADC, A10, etc.).
- Conceptual understanding of DNS.
- Basic exposure to SD-WAN technologies.
- Knowledge of network automation or scripting is an added advantage.
Preferred Profile
- Experience working in large enterprise or data center environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in implementation, migration, and support engagements.
