- Advanced experience in enterprise network engineering with a strong emphasis on automation and programmability.
- Experience automating multi-vendor network environments and integrating with cloud and security platforms.
- Experience with source control, code review, testing, and deployment practices in infrastructure engineering.
- Familiarity with data formats and tools such as JSON, YAML, Jinja2, and automation pipelines.
- Relevant certifications in networking, cloud, or automation are a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain network automation solutions for provisioning, configuration management, compliance validation, monitoring, and lifecycle operations.
- Build reusable automation frameworks, workflows, and playbooks to support enterprise WAN, LAN, cloud, and security infrastructures.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and other orchestration platforms to standardize and automate network deployments.
- Create and maintain scripts and applications using languages such as Python to automate operational tasks, reporting, integrations, and remediation workflows.
- Integrate network automation with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, testing frameworks, and change management processes.
- Collaborate with cloud, security, and platform engineering teams to automate networking components across hybrid and cloud environments, including VPCs, transit architectures, firewalls, load balancers, and interconnectivity solutions.
- Use APIs, SDKs, and controller-based platforms to automate configuration and operational tasks across network and security technologies.
- Establish automated validation, configuration compliance, and drift detection processes to improve network consistency and governance.
- Support the development of operational dashboards, telemetry, and event-driven automation to improve visibility and proactive incident response.
- Troubleshoot complex network and automation issues across traditional, hybrid, and cloud environments.
- Contribute to architectural standards, automation strategy, engineering documentation, and operational runbooks.
- Evaluate emerging tools, technologies, and methodologies to continuously improve network automation maturity and engineering effectiveness.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute technical leadership in automation design, coding standards, and implementation practices.
