As a Network Architect, your typical day involves designing and overseeing comprehensive network architectures that meet both business and technical needs. You will ensure that network solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with the overall enterprise architecture. Your role includes providing guidance and governance throughout the project lifecycle to maintain high standards and effective implementation.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among diverse stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance network design and operational efficiency.
- Mentor team members to foster professional growth and knowledge sharing.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Network Architecture and Design.
- Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with Cloud Network Architecture.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching technologies.
- Experience in designing secure and scalable network infrastructures.
- Ability to develop and enforce network standards and best practices.
- Familiarity with network performance monitoring and troubleshooting techniques.
Must have and Good to have skills: VeloCloud SD-WAN Architect
