Responsibilities
- Receive orders from customer via system
- Perform trip creation in TMS within the agreed business rules
- Identification of correct tariff (NKAG, RD, STO)
- Confirmation of pick up and delivery (RDD/Appointment Schedule) with customer
- Uploading of consolidated order (Excel files) through DHL link or Filezilla
- Strategic planning of SKUs per truck type
- Performs order validation and confirmation in TMS
- Prepare order consignment planning schedule
- Plan trips while optimizing truck u tilization
- Ensure that First-In First-Out (FIFO) is observed during planning of orders
- Expedite orders, order revisions, and confirmations to the customers
- Ad hoc tasks related to orders management and planning
- Daily or weekly reports and ensure all reports are timely submitted
- Perform other tasks assigned by immediate supervisor
- Responsible for addressing issues encountered within internal workstreams such as billing, finance, or any alike issues
- Ensure that all operation targets are met and delivery orders are actioned on, within the agreed lead-time based in the SLA - if there are deviations, he/she should be able to come up with an acceptable shipment schedule date agreed with the customer
- Drive continuous improvement mindset in the area of service and cost.
- Execute approved business continuity plans in case of any disaster situation, system issues, or as needed
- Execute transport cost-savings initiatives
- Maintain and promote good relationship between internal and external parties.
- Responsible for logging of all delivery issues and concerns through CSS system.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any related field
- Minimum of 2 years in transport operations in a supply chain and/or logistics business
- Strong customer service planning experience
- Experience in distribution and transport operations is an advantage
- Knowledge of an enterprise order management system
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate (verbal/writing) effectively
- Self-motivated and strong analytical/problem solving skills
- Has service orientation skills
