Job Purpose
To provide network administration for the organization's data and voice network connectivity which includes installation, maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting of LAN and WAN setup and coordination with branch personnel and telecommunication companies for communication line problem and restoration.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Configure network hardware changes and addition that maybe assigned by the immediate supervisor.
- Maintain and monitor network connectivity of all servers, voice equipment, switch, routers, firewalls and other devices.
- Maintain and monitor network connectivity and performance of IPVPN/MPLS, SIP, SDWAN, VPN of WFH users including websites with internet connections.
- Troubleshoot network problem when detected and provide immediate resolution and update report to all concern in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with telecommunication companies for trouble circuits and make follow-up for immediate restoration.
- Provide assistance to Technical Support team, when necessary, in installation, configuration and troubleshooting of end user workstation related to the network.
- Maintain documentation of network diagram, network hardware inventory and technical specifications information of the hardware.
- Provide administration of security related tasks of all network hardware.
- Perform backups of the network configurations of all network hardware.
- Maintain periodic reports requirements pertaining to network performance of Head Office and Branches LAN and WAN or as may be required by the immediate superior.
- Provide assistance to other support groups (Database team, Solutions support team and technical support team) for technical issues, concerns and problems related to the network.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a bachelor's degree course preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
- 2 to 3 years work experience in network and security related jobs using Cisco and Fortinet.
- Knowledgeable in Cisco, Fortinet firewall, Dell routers and switches, and network monitoring tools.
- With experience in wireless controllers and access points
- Experience in SDWAN, IPVPN/MPLS, VPN and other LAN/WAN setup.
