Senior Network Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Maintain the current and new network infrastructure and security solutions under operational conditions and in alignment with support processes.
2. Build, deploy, administer, and manage WAN, LAN, WLAN, and network services (e.g., Load Balancers).
3. Provide senior-level support for:

• Troubleshooting and incident/problem management.
• Activity, performance, and quality reporting for network and security systems.
• Documentation, including operational procedures and technical guides.

1. Assist with the implementation of new network and security infrastructure components.
2. Proactively ensure system stability, performance, lifecycle management, and operational consistency across platforms.

Secondary Responsibilities:

1. Contribute to research and qualification of new solutions.
2. Provide recommendations to high-level expert teams for improvements and optimizations.

Technical Skills:

Primary Technical Abilities:

• Preferably CCNP and Palo Alto Certified
• Administering and troubleshooting LAN/WAN/WLAN networks.
• Routing protocols: BGP, RIP, OSPF, EIGRP
• LAN technologies: VRRP, VSS, STP
• QoS mechanisms
• Wi-Fi controllers and access points
• Load Balancers (NetScaler)
• Security administration with:
• Palo Alto (certification preferred)
• Fortinet Firewalls
• Pulse Secure remote access
• Reverse Proxy technologies

Secondary Technical Abilities:

• Knowledge of Infrastructure Solutions: Servers, Storage, etc.
• Understanding of the ITIL framework.
• Experience with WAN optimization appliances (e.g., Riverbed).
• Administration of telephony and voice systems (mainly Cisco).

Behavioral Competencies:

1. 7–10 years of infrastructure experience, including 5–7 years in a Network Administrator role.
2. Strong technical knowledge in Cisco, Palo Alto, and Riverbed platforms.
3. Highly motivated and passionate about technology and learning.
4. Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills across departments.
5. Strong customer service orientation.
6. Clear communication skills – both written and verbal.
7. English fluency is mandatory; French reading is a plus.
8. Strong analytical and synthesis skills with an understanding of business needs.
9. Willingness to travel occasionally.
