Job Title: NetSuite Implementation Specialist Technical (Intercompany Transactions)

OVERVIEW:
The NetSuite Implementation Specialist will be responsible for the technical design, configuration, and optimization of NetSuite Intercompany Transactions to support complex, multi-entity environments. This role involves gathering requirements, configuring intercompany workflows, scripting and customizing NetSuite functionality, managing data migration, and providing post-go-live technical support.
The ideal candidate has both a technical and functional understanding of intercompany accounting processes, with strong expertise in configuring and automating NetSuite intercompany transactions to enable seamless global operations, consolidated reporting, and compliance with accounting standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead technical implementation of NetSuite Intercompany Transactions, including system design, setup, and testing.
- Configure intercompany transaction types such as cross-subsidiary billing, intercompany journal entries, cost allocations, and eliminations.
- Develop and customize NetSuite workflows, SuiteScripts, and system automations to optimize intercompany processes.
- Build saved searches and reports to monitor intercompany balances, reconciliations, and consolidated results.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to translate intercompany requirements into technical solutions.
- Oversee data migration activities with focus on mapping and reconciling intercompany balances.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to intercompany automation, transaction flows, and system performance.
- Provide post-implementation technical support, enhancements, and ongoing optimization.
- Deliver training and documentation to ensure effective use of intercompany features by end-users.
- Ensure solutions adhere to NetSuite best practices and meet GAAP/IFRS compliance requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of NetSuite implementation experience with proven hands-on technical expertise in Intercompany Transactions.
- Strong background in finance/accounting with knowledge of GAAP and intercompany processes.
- Proficient in SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, saved searches, reporting, and NetSuite system configuration.
- Experience with data migration, including CSV imports, mapping, validation, and reconciliations.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with ability to design scalable solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to bridge technical details with business requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other ERP/financial systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical projects with accuracy and efficiency.
