As a NetSuite Functional Consultant, you will work with new and existing customers to understand their business needs, design practical solutions, and configure NetSuite to deliver measurable value. You will manage multiple engagements independently while collaborating with project, technical, sales, and account teams.
What You'll Do
- Lead discovery sessions and document customer business requirements.
- Map business processes to NetSuite functionality and leading practices.
- Configure and customise NetSuite solutions to meet customer needs.
- Facilitate remote and in-person consulting sessions and document key decisions.
- Manage scope, expectations, risks, and deliverables across multiple projects.
- Support sales activities through solution reviews, scoping, and estimation.
- Troubleshoot functional issues and escalate complex matters when required.
- Document reusable solutions, best practices, and knowledge for the wider team.
- Stay current with new NetSuite releases, features, and product capabilities.
- Contribute as a subject matter expert and support the development of other consultants.
What You'll Bring
- 8+ years of systems application consulting experience.
- Strong NetSuite functional experience, ideally within Professional Services.
- Advanced knowledge of at least two NetSuite areas, such as ERP, CRM, Ecommerce, or OpenAir.
- Strong accounting, finance, and business process knowledge.
- Experience delivering SaaS, ERP, CRM, or financial system solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and influence customer decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, or a related field; postgraduate qualifications are advantageous.
