We're looking for a Junior to Mid-Level Backend Developer to help expand and maintain our customer-facing donation platform as it scales into new regions, including Indonesia, India, and Europe. If you're ready to move beyond the basics and tackle more complex backend tasks with guidance from senior developers, this role is for you!
What You'll Do
- Backend Development: Enhance backend services for new regions and customize logic for region-specific requirements.
- API Development & Integration: Build and maintain RESTful APIs to support frontend functionality and ensure secure data exchange.
- Database Management: Migrate data from Excel-based systems to PostgreSQL, optimize queries, and improve performance.
- .NET Development: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable .NET code.
- Quality & Collaboration: Check work before QA, manage pull requests, troubleshoot defects, and collaborate closely with the team.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and contribute to process enhancements.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 13 years in backend development with a focus on .NET and PostgreSQL.
- Technical Skills:
- RESTful API design and documentation.
- Familiarity with GraphQL (a plus).
- Experience with Azure Functions or similar serverless computing.
- Knowledge of Coremedia CMS or similar CMS (a plus).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
