Be part of our client's team as a Senior .NET Software Engineer, where you will deliver production-ready .NET solutions, contribute to architecture and technical design, and apply strong testing and quality practices. You'll collaborate closely with your team to continuously improve codebases, strengthen reliability, and build secure, high-performing platforms that scale with real-world demand.
What You Bring to the Team
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of experience delivering software projects using modern architecture and engineering best practices
- Strong proficiency in .NET technologies, including C# and related frameworks
- Experience working with modern TypeScript-based front-end or service integrations (where applicable)
- Solid understanding of modern software development techniques, including object-oriented programming, functional programming, test-driven development (TDD), and CI/CD pipelines
- Hands-on experience designing and deploying applications in cloud environments (e.g., Azure or similar platforms)
- Experience building and maintaining scalable, secure, and maintainable .NET applications
- Exposure to Agile or Scrum environments is a plus
- Willingness to work remotely while aligning with Australian time zones and public holidays
What You'll Be Doing
- Learn and apply world-class engineering practices
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
- Deliver features to the highest standard while practicing TDD and quality practices
- Contribute proactively to the continuous improvement of products, technology, processes, and team development
- Provide production support, including participation in on-call rotations (e.g., Day Pager)
- Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to design and break down work into consumable stories
- Maintain and enhance existing products, including bug fixes and feature development
- Conduct code (PR) and technical design reviews
- Participate in retrospectives to ensure constant improvement
- Develop, test, and document high-quality code adhering to engineering standards
- Perform ad hoc activities as necessary or prescribed by the Immediate Manager or Authorized Representative
