We are looking for a strong C# .NET Backend Developer to design and develop the backend data feeds, services, and database layer for our ELC application. This role involves building scalable APIs that will interface directly with a tablet-based mobile application and store information securely in the database.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using C# .NET (Core or Framework)
- Build API endpoints and data feeds used by the ELC tablet application
- Implement data models, queries, and stored procedures to support application functionality
- Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of backend services
- Integrate with SQL or NoSQL databases and ensure secure data handling
- Collaborate closely with mobile application developers
- Maintain documentation, participate in code reviews, and support deployment workflows
Technical expertise:
- 5+ years of experience with C# and .NET Core/.NET Framework
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices
- Solid understanding of relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Experience with Entity Framework or similar ORM
- Strong understanding of backend architecture, security, and API versioning
- Familiarity with Git-based development workflows
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) for deployment and hosting
- Background in real-time or event-driven data processing
- Experience integrating with mobile applications
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker)
