Job Description

We're Hiring: NDIS Learning & Capability Specialist

Philippines | Full-Time Remote | Australian NDIS Focus

We're looking for an experienced NDIS Learning & Capability Specialist who brings genuine, practical knowledge of the Australian NDIS environment and can turn that expertise into structured training, practical learning resources, candidate preparation, and ongoing workforce development.

This is more than a traditional Learning & Development role.

The successful candidate will help strengthen our overall NDIS capability across Talent Acquisition, candidate readiness, employee development, Operations, Account Management, and Sales & Partnerships. The role requires someone who understands how NDIS providers actually operate and can translate that knowledge into clear, practical and scalable capability initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing

You will take ownership of developing and improving NDIS learning and capability initiatives across the business, including:

  • Developing structured NDIS training programs, guides, presentations, checklists, assessments, practical exercises and reference materials
  • Delivering individual and group training to candidates, employees and internal teams
  • Building role-specific learning pathways for professionals supporting NDIS providers
  • Identifying knowledge and capability gaps and designing targeted interventions
  • Mapping common NDIS processes, workflows, responsibilities and competency requirements
  • Developing competency frameworks, process maps and practical assessment resources
  • Supporting Talent Acquisition with stronger NDIS candidate screening and assessment methodologies
  • Providing subject-matter expertise for specialised or complex NDIS roles
  • Preparing shortlisted candidates before presentation to NDIS clients
  • Providing ongoing coaching, refresher training and capability support to employees already working with NDIS providers.

NDIS Areas You May Support

Your knowledge may span areas such as NDIS Administration, Rostering and Workforce Coordination, Support Coordination, Plan Management Administration, Intake and Participant Onboarding, Compliance and Quality Administration, Case Management Support, Service Agreements, and Participant and Client Services.

You'll also help us build practical knowledge around platforms commonly used across disability and NDIS operations, including ShiftCare, SupportAbility, Brevity, CareMaster, Lumary, AlayaCare, PRODA, Employment Hero, Deputy, Xero, CRM, case-management and workforce-management systems. You do not need to be an expert in every system, but you should be comfortable learning new platforms and translating them into practical training resources.

What We're Looking For

We're particularly interested in candidates who have:

Demonstrated professional experience within the Australian NDIS or disability-services sector, a strong practical understanding of NDIS provider operations, participant services and common workflows, and direct experience working with or supporting NDIS providers.

You should also have experience in training, coaching, mentoring, onboarding, Learning & Development, quality or capability building, together with the ability to turn complex NDIS information into clear and practical learning materials.

Strong facilitation, presentation, process-documentation, stakeholder-management and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and manage multiple capability initiatives.

Highly Regarded Experience

Previous experience within Learning & Development, Training, Quality, Operations or Capability inside an NDIS organisation will be highly regarded, particularly if you have designed training programs, learning pathways or competency frameworks.

Experience across several NDIS functions, NDIS-specific platforms, candidate assessment or preparation, offshore teams supporting Australian organisations, or understanding common NDIS workforce and operational challenges will also be advantageous.

Who Will Succeed in This Role

We're looking for someone who can be both an NDIS Subject Matter Expert and a capability builder.

You should be able to explain not only what an NDIS process is, but also why it matters, how it works operationally, what good performance looks like, and how to teach someone else to perform it confidently and correctly.

If you enjoy developing people, strengthening processes, building practical learning resources and helping teams become genuinely NDIS-ready, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply through LinkedIn with your updated CV highlighting your direct Australian NDIS experience and your experience in training, coaching, capability development or Learning & Development.
