Job Description
The Multimedia Specialist is responsible for creating, producing, and managing high-quality photo and video content for marketing campaigns, social media, digital advertising, events, product features, and other communication requirements.
The role covers the end-to-end production process, including concept preparation, photography, videography, editing, content adaptation, file management, and final quality checking. The Multimedia Specialist is expected to deliver visually engaging and consistent content while meeting project requirements and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality photo and video content for marketing campaigns, social media, digital advertisements, events, product shoots, and promotional activities.
Prepare storyboards, shot lists, mood boards, and other visual references as needed.
Coordinate production requirements, including schedules, equipment, products, locations, and other resources.
Operate DSLR or mirrorless cameras, lighting equipment, microphones, and other photography and video production tools.
Edit videos using appropriate editing software, including color correction, audio enhancement, transitions, basic motion graphics, and other post-production requirements.
Edit and retouch photographs for digital and marketing use.
Resize, format, and adapt creative assets for different platforms, screen sizes, and digital channels.
Prepare and manage content for digital displays and media screens.
Ensure that published and displayed content is accurate, updated, properly formatted, and visually consistent.
Organize, label, back up, and archive raw footage, working files, photographs, and final outputs.
Maintain proper handling, storage, and basic care of photography and production equipment.
Work closely with the Marketing, Creative, and other relevant teams to execute approved concepts and campaigns.
Review all final materials for quality, accuracy, consistency, and technical requirements before submission or publication.
Stay updated on current trends, tools, techniques, and best practices in photography, videography, multimedia, and digital content creation.
Perform other related duties that may be assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Arts, Digital Media, Communication, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field.
At least 3 to 4 years of relevant professional experience in multimedia production, photography, videography, video editing, digital content creation, or a related role.
Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator is an advantage.
Hands-on experience with DSLR or mirrorless cameras, lighting equipment, microphones, and other production equipment.
Strong knowledge of photography, videography, video editing, lighting, composition, color correction, and basic motion graphics.
Strong visual storytelling skills and attention to detail.
Good organizational and file management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a creative team.
Experience creating content for retail, consumer products, food, lifestyle, or similar industries is an advantage.
Portfolio or demo reel showcasing relevant photography and video work is required.
