Job Description

Overall purpose, duties and responsibilities of the role:

The Multimedia Specialist is responsible for defining and executing the visual direction of a brand, campaign, or project across static and motion-based content. This role combines conceptual leadership, hands-on creative execution, and team direction, ensuring all visual outputs are cohesive, high‑quality, and aligned with business and marketing objectives.

The Multimedia Specialist leads the creative vision from concept development to final delivery, overseeing design, photography, and video production while collaborating closely with marketing, brand, and external partners.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Creative Direction & Concept Development

  • Develop and maintain the overall visual style and creative direction across campaigns, digital content, and brand assets.
  • Translate marketing strategies and briefs into strong visual concepts for print, digital, social, and video platforms.
  • Ensure visual storytelling is consistent, compelling, and on‑brand.

Photography Direction & Execution

  • Plan, direct, and sometimes shoot brand, lifestyle, and campaign photography.
  • Define shot lists, compositions, lighting styles, and visual treatments.
  • Oversee photo shoots, including coordination with photographers, stylists, talents, and production teams.
  • Curate, select, and approve final images for production and distribution.

Video Direction & Editing

  • Conceptualize and direct video content such as brand films, social videos, ads, interviews, and motion assets.
  • Perform or supervise video editing, color grading, and basic motion graphics where needed.
  • Ensure videos meet platform‑specific requirements (e.g., social media, digital ads, internal communications).

Design & Asset Production

  • Review and approve layouts, storyboards, and creative executions across formats.
  • Ensure visual quality, typography, layout, and motion design meet brand standards.
  • Maintain organized creative libraries for photo, video, and design assets.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

· University degree or professional qualifications in arts, design, communication, advertising, etc.

· Excellent design and communication skills

· Native English speaker preferred

· Must love all things digital and have an uncontrollable need to stay current on all new creative technologies

· Proficient in Mac OS, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office programs.

· Experience in animation and non-linear video editing – preferably in an advertising, design or media agency and/or production house.

· At least 3 years work experience with handling strong international or local brands

· Must have significant body of work addressing millennials

· Must have significant, quality portfolio of digital work

· Passion: Deep understanding of and passion for design

· Multi-tasking: Can manage multiple projects without dropping the ball

· Creative: Should have great visual sensibility and ability to produce eye catching, classy work

· Collaborative: Should have appreciation of and work well with teammates and vendors

· Obsessive: about quality of output
