Woolworths Group (Australia and New Zealand's largest retailer) launched Woolworths Market Plus (WMP) in October 2023. WMP is a curated customer destination that brings together our trusted marketplace ecosystem, comprising three core banners: Big W Market, MyDeal, and Everyday Market. WMP provides one door for our sellers to both sell and manage products across our marketplaces. We continue to grow, and operate primarily across three hub locations: Melbourne, Sydney & Manila.
The Manila-based Multimedia Graphic Designer is responsible for producing engaging static, dynamic, and video-based creative assets that drive seller education, platform engagement, and campaign performance across the Woolworths MarketPlus (WMP) ecosystem.
While supporting the day-to-day generalist graphic design needs of the AU-based team, this role acts as the lead for post-production, motion graphics, and rich-media editing. A key component of this role is collaborating remotely with AU-based freelance videographers and content creators - providing them with comprehensive storyboards and shot lists to capture raw footage, which this role will edit and produce into high-quality final assets.
1. Video Production, Creative Direction & Post-Production (Lead Focus)
- Owns the post-production workflow (editing, motion graphics, color grading, sound design, and formatting) for all video content.
- Directs and briefs local AU-based freelance videographers or agency partners by producing comprehensive storyboards, shot lists, and detailed creative guidelines to ensure the required raw footage is captured accurately.
- Collaborates with the seller marketing team to translate strategic messaging into actionable video concepts, managing the process from initial storyboard concept to final asset delivery.
- Produces high-impact rich-media assets for B2B channels (such as LinkedIn and seller landing pages) to drive onboarding education, feature adoption , and Voice of Seller success stories.
2. B2B & B2C Graphic Design Support
- Designs high-quality digital collateral including email templates, landing pages, digital seller guides, newsletters, and pitch decks in alignment with WMP brand guidelines.
- Collaborates with banner marketing teams to develop buyer-facing promotional creative that highlights seller range and marketplace promotions.
3. Workflow, Brand Governance & Asset Management
- Partners with the Seller Marketing & GTM Manager to prioritise, schedule, and execute design requests within established SLAs.
- Ensures all visual assets maintain strict brand consistency and align with the WMP B2B Tone of Voice (TOV) guidelines.
- Develop and maintain the team's central digital asset management library for seamless collaboration and version control.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional experience in graphic design and digital media, preferably within a digital, retail, e-commerce, or marketplace platform environment.
- Advanced proficiency in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, with expert-level skills in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Audition (or comparable industry-standard video/audio software).
- Demonstrated experience in remote creative direction, specifically in creating shot lists, storyboard briefs, and guidelines for on-site videographers/photographers.
- A strong digital portfolio demonstrating exceptional skill in static layout design alongside dynamic video editing, motion graphics, and visual storytelling.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly across a geographically dispersed team.
