We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Multimedia Editor to produce engaging, high-quality YouTube content for our client. This role focuses on editing talking-head videos with B-roll, captions, motion graphics, and polished audio to create professional videos that retain viewers and reflect a consistent brand style.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit 8–12 YouTube videos per month (approximately 8–12 minutes each)
- Add relevant B-roll footage including homes, Prescott areas, lifestyle visuals, and supporting clips
- Insert captions, titles, and light motion graphics
- Clean and enhance audio quality, add suitable background music
- Create engaging cuts, pacing, and transitions to improve viewer retention
- Follow a consistent editing style and brand direction (examples will be provided)
- Create YouTube thumbnails (preferred but optional)
- Organize project files and meet agreed deadlines
- Collaborate with the team and apply feedback efficiently
Preferred Video Style
- Clean, polished, and professional (not flashy)
- Talking head + B-roll + simple transitions
- Strong storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience in video editing for YouTube, social media, or digital platforms
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools
- Basic motion graphics skills (After Effects or similar is a plus)
- Strong sense of timing, pacing, and visual storytelling
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
Bonus Skills
- Experience editing real estate or relocation-related videos
- Understanding of YouTube SEO and retention strategies
- Thumbnail design experience
- Ability to proactively suggest creative improvements
