Job Summary

The Multi-Skilled Technician is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of various building systems, equipment, and facilities. The role involves handling electrical, mechanical, plumbing, air-conditioning, and general maintenance tasks to ensure the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of company facilities and equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building facilities, equipment, and systems.

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems, lighting fixtures, outlets, and basic electrical components.

Conduct basic plumbing repairs, including leaks, clogged drains, faucets, and water supply systems.

Inspect, maintain, and assist in repairing air-conditioning and ventilation systems.

Perform minor carpentry, painting, masonry, and general building repairs.

Diagnose equipment problems and implement appropriate corrective actions.

Conduct routine inspections to identify potential hazards, defects, and maintenance requirements.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair situations.

Ensure that tools, equipment, and maintenance materials are properly used, stored, and maintained.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and materials used.

Coordinate with contractors and service providers when specialized repairs are required.

Follow occupational health and safety standards, company procedures, and applicable regulations.

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in work areas after completing maintenance activities.

Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

Graduate of a vocational or technical course in Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, HVAC, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.

Relevant experience in building maintenance, facilities maintenance, or equipment repair is an advantage.

Knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and air-conditioning systems.

Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment safely.

Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and workplace safety practices.

Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
