Role Overview
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is looking for an experienced MuleSoft Developer / Integration Specialist with 5+ years of hands-on experience to design, build, and maintain enterprise-scale integration solutions. The role involves working closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance APIs and integrations using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement API-led connectivity solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
- Build and maintain RESTful and SOAP APIs, integrations, and microservices
- Develop integrations using Mule 4, DataWeave 2.x, connectors, and Anypoint Studio
- Implement error handling, logging, performance tuning, and security best practices
- Manage API lifecycle including design, development, deployment, monitoring, and versioning
- Deploy solutions using CloudHub / Runtime Fabric / On-Prem environments
- Integrate MuleSoft with Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, databases, and third-party systems
- Work closely with architects, business analysts, and DevOps teams
- Participate in code reviews, testing, CI/CD pipelines, and documentation
- Provide production support, root cause analysis, and performance optimization
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in MuleSoft development
- Strong hands-on experience with Mule 4.x
- Expertise in DataWeave, flow design, and custom connectors
- Strong understanding of API-led architecture (System, Process, Experience layers)
- Experience with Anypoint Platform, API Manager, CloudHub
- Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS, API security
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes is a plus
- Strong SQL and data transformation skills
Certifications (Preferred):
- MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1 or Level 2
- MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect (added advantage)
