As The MRO Planner Buyer, You Will

Plan and Procure Indirect Materials: Identify, consolidate, and review supply and demand for non-production materials across departments. Develop procurement plans in coordination with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

Validate and Process Purchase Requests: Review purchase requests for accuracy and completeness. Generate purchase orders (POs) for repeat items or those under long-term agreements.

Maintain Planning Data Integrity: Ensure accuracy of system transactions, Bills-of-Material, routings, standard times, and planning parameters such as safety stock, scrap factors, tool life, and order rules.

Execute Purchasing Transactions: Prepare and process POs in line with company policies using the Moog Business System (MBS). Maintain accurate procurement records.

Conduct Competitive Bidding: Facilitate bidding processes to secure competitive pricing and select qualified vendors.

Supplier Communication: Engage with suppliers for quotations, order confirmations, delivery schedules, and other procurement-related matters.

Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Supply Chain, Production Planning, Engineering, and other support services to align demand and supply.

Administrative Support: Handle documentation, approvals, and procurement-related paperwork.

Inventory Management & Reporting: Track and report metrics such as on-time delivery, inventory levels, lead times, scrap rates, and financial consumption analysis.

To be considered for this role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Engineering, or Business Administration
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in indirect procurement (MRO)
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus

Strong skills in: English communication (verbal and written), Negotiation Computer proficiency (Word, Excel), Familiarity with MRP and ERP systems
