Motorpool Engineer

As Motorpool Engineer, you will maintain and plan efficient schedules for all company vehicles and stationary equipment and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with the Administration team, internal departments, and drivers to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Supervise and lead team members by monitoring daily activities, scheduling tasks, conducting performance appraisals, and approving time/leave applications.
  • Maintain fleet and asset health by implementing and ensuring prompt execution of Preventive Maintenance Schedules (PMS) and preparing requisitions for parts.
  • Optimize logistics and fuel operations through the scheduling of trips, monitoring of vehicle trackers/dashcams, and issuing fuel and oil withdrawals.
  • Manage administrative compliance including vehicle registration/licensing with the LTO, insurance coverage, and vehicle damage claims.
  • Oversee financial and performance tracking by preparing OPEX/CAPEX budgets and generating monthly vehicle performance reports.

What You Will Need:

Education & Experience:

  • Degree: Bachelor's Degree holder, preferably a graduate of an Engineering course.
  • Professional Experience: At least two (2) years of experience in the repairs and maintenance of vehicles, generators, similar equipment, GPS, and fleet management systems.
  • Leadership & Project Experience: At least 1 year of leadership experience and 2 years of project experience.
  • Certification: Must possess a valid Driver's License.

Technical / Functional Skills:

  • System Proficiency: Knowledge and monitoring capabilities in Fleet Management Systems (such as Geotab and Webscast), vehicle trackers, and dashcams.
  • Core Competencies: Strong skills in budget execution (OPEX/CAPEX), preventive maintenance planning, and logistics coordination.
