The Motor Pool Supervisor ensures that vehicles, heavy equipment, and machinery are ready for servicing the company's needs. He ensures that manpower is competent and meets regulatory requirements.
Accountabilities
1. Directly supervise, coordinate, and monitor the schedule the daily activities of service vehicles, heavy equipment operators, laborers, and other on-site crews to ensure project milestones and production targets are met.
2. Monitor and manage the daily performance of all service vehicles, heavy equipment on-site—including cranes, trucks, loaders, graders, and compressors—to maximize utilization, efficiency, and operational uptime.
3. Coordinates with other departments on the equipment provision and usage in all Marine and Industrial projects,
4. Prepares status reports of equipment and vehicles.
5. Supervises all repairs and maintenance.
6. Checks and monitors requests for spare parts needed for repair.
7. Prepares cost estimates for repair and rehabilitation projects of various vehicles and equipment.
8. Checks the condition of requested spare parts.
9. Prepares an internal work schedule of repair activities, then submits it to the manager for approval.
10. Supervises and ensures all vehicle registration and renewal.
11. Supervises, monitors, and evaluates personnel/manpower performance.
12. Ensures compliance with government and company requirements/policies.
13. Performs other tasks that may be delegated.
JOB QUALIFICATION
• Educational Attainment: A graduate of Mechanical Engineering
• Required Knowledge: Computer applications such as MS Office & Open Office
• Experience Required: At least two (2) years of work experience
• Skills/ abilities: Keen attention to details; Results Oriented; Well Organized; Computer literate; Self-motivated; Good Analytical skills; read and interpret blueprints.
