JOB PURPOSE
To perform functions related to establishing relationship with new brokers/agents; servicing of and soliciting new business from assigned/existing brokers/agents; ensuring that outstanding accounts are collected within the specified term.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accounts Management and Servicing. Services existing accounts of assigned brokers/agents/direct clients. Gathers market information from assigned clients/intermediaries; evaluates viability of Motor Insurance applied for by assigned brokers within underwriting guidelines prior to endorsing application to underwriter. Prepares Motor insurance proposals upon request of client brokers/agents. Ensures expansion of business by maintaining good relationship with brokers/agents and by regularly visiting valued brokers and agencies.
- Solicitation of New Accounts/Business and Accounts Development. Identifies new brokers and establishes relationship with them; solicits new accounts and business from existing and new brokers/agents.
- Collection. Monitors and follows up the status accounts and/or the collection of outstanding accounts of assigned brokers/agents in coordination with Motor Operations Support and Collection Department.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Candidate must be a graduate of any bachelor's degree course.
- Minimum 3 years in the insurance business preferably in sales.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
- Proven sales track record
