Role Description
This is a project-based, full-time, contract role for a video production specialist (focus on motion graphics and digital assets), located in Manila, with flexibility for hybrid work that allows partial work-from-home arrangements.
The video production specialist will handle all aspects of video production, with a heavy emphasis on creating and adapting high-quality graphics for immersive educational content. You will be responsible for shooting, editing, and post-production, ensuring every assetwhether sourced or custom-madeis optimized for high-impact visual storytelling that aligns with our mission of educational innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Asset Adaptation: Source and expertly modify high-quality vector and raster libraries to create bespoke icons, characters, and UI elements tailored for educational video workflows.
- Full-Cycle Production: Manage video projects from initial shoot and lighting setup through to final export and quality assurance.
- Technical Optimization: Deconstruct and re-layer complex graphic files to ensure they are animation-ready for seamless integration into After Effects.
- Immersive Storytelling: Collaborate with the tech team to ensure video assets complement VR/AR and gamified learning environments.
- Visual Synthesis: Blend pre-existing design elements with original creative touches to maintain a cohesive, high-end PCI Innovations brand aesthetic across all multimedia.
Qualifications
- Production Mastery: Proficiency in Video Production, including Shooting Video, Lighting techniques, and Post-Production tasks.
- Software Expertise: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. High command of Illustrator and Photoshop for asset manipulation.
- The Curator's Eye: Exceptional ability to scout, select, and re-engineer digital assets to fit a specific educational brief efficiently.
- Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, hybrid environment, communicating clearly with team members to meet project milestones.
- Attention to Detail: Strong visual storytelling skills with a focus on precision, timing, and educational clarity.
- Education: Degree or certification in Film Production, Multimedia Arts, or a related field preferred.
