Your Role As a Motion Graphics Designer,you will:
Video Production & Animation
- Design, animate, and deliver full TV commercials based on campaign or flyer creative, including Local Area Marketing (LAM) events.
- Ensure all TVCs meet broadcasting standards and are encoded correctly for delivery within FreeTV Australia (CAD) requirements.
- Edit and manipulate raw or external-sourced footage to produce high-quality promotional videos, social media content, and event coverage.
- Create visually engaging video content incorporating VFX and innovative concepts to grow audience engagement.
- Record, synchronize, and mix music, voiceovers, and sound effects.
- Edit existing radio advertisements when needed.
Motion & Graphic Design
- Apply creative direction in line with brand style guides.
- Adapt campaign creative into motion formats across multiple graphic mediums.
- Produce internal support office video materials.
- Ensure brand consistency across all video and motion touchpoints.
Workplace Standards
- Follow all OH&S and safety procedures to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Perform tasks in a way that avoids harm to self or others.
General
- Adhere to company policies and maintain updated files, directories, and documentation.
- Support additional tasks and ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
What You Need Non-negotiables
- Certificate/Diploma or higher in Design, Multimedia Design, or Visual Communications.
- 35 years experience in a busy design studio.
- Proven experience in video production and motion graphics for social media and/or TV commercials.
- High proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Audition, and Media Encoder.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Demonstrated ability to design, edit, and animate videos from concept to final delivery.
- Strong understanding of video production processes, broadcasting standards, and social media formats.
- Ability to efficiently edit and manipulate audio.
- Strong attention to detail, design accuracy, and brand consistency.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multi-department teams.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort receiving constructive feedback.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround and high-volume output.
Preferred skills/expertise
- Experience with VFX, post-production, and advanced animation techniques.
- Photo manipulation and contouring experience.
- Familiarity with delivering content through external broadcast partners.
- Ability to work with client-provided briefs and deliver accurate artwork interpretation.
- Strong understanding of digital file standards and formatting requirements.
