The Mortgage Finance Business Team Lead is responsible for organizing, directing, coordinating, and supervising the activities of the team under the Mortgage Loans Unit.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sets directions and create strategies of the team based on the assigned coverage and volume targets
- Ensures daily/weekly coverage of the Account Officers under the team. Monitors daily attendance and production of each team member on top of the Team Leader's individual target
- Supervises and oversees the daily operations of the team members. This includes both the Account Officers and the staff from evaluation of the loan applications until the booking of the loans
- Conducts regular meetings with team members and addresses issues/concerns
- Trains, motivates, and coaches team members to attain both the individual targets and the team's target
- Reports regularly to the Unit Heads updates on their assigned coverage and marketing plans for achievement of loan targets
- Reviews and recommends approval of applications for housing loans
- Recommends approval request for booking/release of loan
- Recommends approval of developer accreditation for end-buyers financing
- Recommends effective marketing strategies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or any relevant course.
- With solid experience in mortgage lending, housing loans, or real estate financing.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing Account Officers or a sales/operations team.
- Strong knowledge of loan processes - from application, evaluation, to booking.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to create strategies, analyze performance, and drive the team to meet targets.
