Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Mortgage Support Analyst to assist our mortgage team with the quality control review of Residential Loan Applications. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of US mortgage processes and be able to assist our loan team with documentation requirements, resolve application discrepancies, and ensure data accuracy prior to underwriting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to our loan team on completing and submitting loan application accurately.
- Review submitted 1003 forms for completeness, consistency, and compliance with investor and regulatory guidelines.
- Assist in collecting and validating supporting documentation (pay stubs, W-2s, bank statements, tax returns) tied to application fields.
- Coordinate with our loan team to clarify missing or conflicting application data.
- Log and track borrower application issues/tickets through to resolution within SLA timelines.
- Ensure all application handling comply with RESPA, TRID, ECOA, and other applicable mortgage regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of application status changes and audit trails.
- Escalate system defects or recurring data issues to the technical/application support team.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in US mortgage operations, loan processing, or application support.
- Strong working knowledge of the 1003 Uniform Residential Loan Application (URLA) and its data fields.
- Familiarity with mortgage origination systems / point-of-sale platforms (e.g., Encompass, Blend, SimpleNexus, or similar).
- Understanding of the mortgage loan lifecycle.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy skills.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with internal teams.
- Experience with ticketing/case management tools (ServiceNow, JIRA, Salesforce, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of US mortgage compliance frameworks (RESPA, TRID, ECOA, Fair Lending).
- Prior experience in loan processing, underwriting support, or mortgage QC.
- Familiarity with income/asset verification and credit report review basics.
- Willingness to work in US shift hours, if required.
