Rising Red Dragon Import Export Corp. is seeking an experiencedModern Trade Headto join our dynamic team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. In this full-time role, you will lead and drive our modern trade sales strategy, build strong relationships with key customers, and ensure the successful execution of our business objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective modern trade sales strategies to drive growth and profitability
- Manage and strengthen relationships with major modern trade customers, including hypermarkets, supermarkets, and convenience stores
- Negotiate and secure favourable trading terms and agreements with key customers
- Monitor and analyse modern trade market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities
- Lead and mentor a team of modern trade account managers to ensure excellent customer service and performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and other teams to deliver integrated solutions for customers
- Regularly report on modern trade performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend strategic initiatives
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience in modern trade sales, account management, or strategic sales roles within the consumer goods industry
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful modern trade sales strategies to drive growth
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills with the ability to effectively manage key customer accounts
- In-depth knowledge of the modern trade landscape, market dynamics, and industry best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address business challenges
- Effective leadership and people management skills to inspire and develop high-performing teams
- Proficient in using sales reporting and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
