The Senior Mobile QA Engineer, will play a crucial role in setting up the foundations in making this happen ensuring that
software applications perform optimally under various conditions.
What you'll be doing:
- Test iOS and Android mobile apps across functional, UI/UX, smoke, and regression scenarios
- Execute full regression testing for every release to ensure app stability
- Identify, document, and track defects with clear steps and logs
- Support end-to-end testing of new features, enhancements, and app improvements
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to verify requirements and resolve issues
- Maintain mobile test cases, regression suites, and release checklists
- Perform device compatibility testing across OS versions and form factors
- Support automation efforts for faster and more reliable regression coverage
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in mobile application testing (iOS and/or Android)
- Strong knowledge of functional, regression, and end-to-end testing for mobile apps
- Experience debugging mobile issues using tools such as device logs, and network inspection tools
- Ability to test mobile-specific behaviors (permissions, push notifications, deep links, app lifecycle, network states)
- Hands-on experience testing across real devices, simulators/emulators, and multiple OS versions
- Proficiency with QA tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Postman, Figma, TestFlight, Firebase App Distribution)
- Solid understanding of API testing and backend validation
- Ability to create clear test cases, test plans, and detailed bug reports
- Strong analytical, debugging, and root-cause investigation skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Coding/scripting experience is a plus (e.g., Java, Kotlin, Swift, JavaScript, or Python)
- Experience with mobile test automation (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest) is astrong plus
