Mobile Developer - Japanese-Speaking (iOS/Android Enterprise Apps)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Japanese-speaking Mobile Developer to design, build, and maintain high-performance mobile applications for enterprise or consumer-facing platforms. This role requires strong technical knowledge of mobile frameworks and the ability to interpret and implement functional specifications communicated in Japanese, in collaboration with global and multilingual teams.

The ideal candidate has experience in native or cross-platform mobile development and is comfortable working in agile environments, delivering high-quality code and user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop mobile applications using native (iOS/Android) or cross-platform frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter).
• Translate requirements and technical documentation provided in Japanese into functional mobile app features.
• Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, and QA engineers to build user-centric applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices.
• Integrate mobile apps with APIs and backend systems.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and support application deployment to app stores or enterprise environments.
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and regular updates with Japanese-speaking stakeholders.
• Stay up to date with the latest mobile development trends, SDKs, and security practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of mobile development experience in iOS (Swift/Objective-C), Android (Kotlin/Java), or cross-platform (React Native, Flutter).
• Proficient in Japanese (JLPT N4 or higher) and English, with the ability to interpret technical and business requirements.
• Experience working in agile, multicultural, or offshore development environments.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, mobile UI/UX design principles, and app lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with mobile security standards and performance optimization.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and testing frameworks is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
