Job Title: Mobile Developer (React Native, .NET)

Location: BGC Taguig Philippines (On-site)

We're looking for a Mobile Developer to join our team to help build and maintain a React Native (Expo) mobile application, while also contributing to our .NET backend APIs that support the app.

This mobile app is part of a broader customer-facing platform. The primary goal of the mobile app is to deliver high-quality user experience, starting with a mobile version of our technical support portal for customers. While we currently have a web portal, there is no native mobile app yet. Plans may include additional applications, with engineer-focused versions (e.g., NOC or SOC tools) later down the line.

The Role

On the frontend, the app already follows predefined colors, typography, and basic theming. You'll work within these existing patterns while building features and fixing issues, keeping the UI consistent across screens and between Light and Dark Mode.

On the backend, you'll help implement and maintain .NET APIs that support mobile features, working closely with existing services and data models at the API level.

We value practical, readable solutions and developers who care about maintainability on both frontend and backend.

While the primary focus of this role is mobile development with React Native and Expo, there may be occasional opportunities to contribute to our React web frontend. This is intended to complement your mobile work and provide broader exposure to our customer-facing platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and improve mobile features using React Native and Expo
• Design, implement, and maintain .NET REST APIs
• Integrate frontend features with backend APIs using Axios
• Apply existing UI styles, colors, and typography consistently
• Create reusable frontend components and clean backend endpoints
• Collaborate using Git through pull requests and code review
• Debug and resolve issues across mobile and backend services

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience building mobile applications using React Native
• Solid understanding of core React concepts (functional components, hooks, state management)
• Experience working with ASP.NET (C#) REST APIs, including controllers and service-layer code
• Experience using Git for version control and collaboration in a team environment.
• Willingness to use AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Antigravity, Gemini) to assist with routine work, while reviewing and understanding the code.
• Onsite Role:
• Familiarity with Axios or similar API libraries
• Basic understanding of mobile styling and theming
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
