Job Description
As a Mobile App Developer, you will own the full mobile app lifecycle from concept and design collaboration through coding, testing, and publishing to the App Store and Google Play. You'll build both standalone apps and integrated solutions that connect with portals and backend systems, using cross-platform frameworks (React Native, Flutter, Ionic) as well as native technologies (Swift, Kotlin/Java).
Requirements
- Proven experience shipping apps through App Store and Google Play approval.
- Strong background in cross-platform frameworks and native mobile development.
- Experience building apps that integrate with portals or backend systems.
- Willingness to learn quickly and try new technologies.
- Ability to assist with full-stack web projects (React, Laravel, Rails, Django, etc.) when needed.
- Solid understanding of testing frameworks and QA workflows.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with clients.
Responsibilities
- Build standalone apps that showcase fresh ideas and get them live in the App Store and Google Play.
- Develop integrated mobile apps that connect with portals (like the Client Portal or shipping portals) and backend systems.
- Work across industries, from public safety apps for law enforcement to operational tools for logistics companies, to innovative projects for nonprofits and startups.
- Push out creative app concepts that help the organization gain traction and demonstrate our ability to ship.
- Jump into full-stack projects when needed, collaborating with the web team to bring mobile and backend together.
- Stay curious, continuously learn new frameworks/technologies, and bring forward innovative solutions.
- Own the end-to-end mobile lifecycle: idea, design collaboration, coding, testing, submission, and approval in App Store/Google Play.
- Build apps using cross-platform frameworks (React Native, Flutter, Ionic) and native tech (Swift for iOS, Kotlin/Java for Android).
- Ensure reliability with testing and QA best practices.
- Collaborate directly with clients and internal stakeholders to refine features and deliver polished products.
- Contribute to full-stack projects (web apps, portals) as needed.
- Proactively research and test new technologies to keep the organization ahead of industry trends.
