Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mining Engineer role based in Kasibu. The Mining Engineer will support day-to-day mine operations by planning and optimizing production activities, coordinating with maintenance teams, and ensuring that equipment and infrastructure meet operational and safety standards. Responsibilities include developing mine plans and schedules, monitoring production data, and identifying opportunities to improve productivity, reliability, and cost efficiency. The role involves conducting site inspections, contributing to equipment reliability programs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on maintenance, fabrication, and project work. The Mining Engineer will also support regulatory compliance, prepare technical reports, and provide engineering input for continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline is required; professional licensure or eligibility for licensure is an advantage.
• Candidates should possess strong mine planning and operations skills, including experience with production scheduling, pit or underground layout, and resource optimization.
• Candidates should possess skills in equipment performance analysis, reliability engineering, and maintenance planning, preferably in both mobile and fixed plant environments.
• Candidates should possess technical skills in mining or mechanical engineering principles, including understanding of materials, structural integrity, and fabrication concepts.
• Candidates should possess skills in safety management and regulatory compliance, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and adherence to local mining regulations.
• Candidates should possess data analysis and reporting skills, including proficiency with MS Office and relevant mining or engineering software tools.
• Previous on-site mining experience, preferably in the Philippines, and familiarity with both underground and surface operations are highly beneficial.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
