Millwork & Casework Drafter (CAD/CAM Production Specialist)

Location: Remote - (Philippines)

Salary Range: 1500 - 2500 USD/month

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 4:00 PM - 1:00 AM (CST)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a production-focused Millwork & Casework Drafter to lead the drafting cycle independently. You will be responsible for creating high-quality submittal packets that include clear construction notes, finish schedules, and hardware details, ultimately rendering these into G-code for CNC production. This role requires a construction-first mindset, delivering drawings that are clean, accessible, and technically precise.

Key Responsibilities:

• High-Quality Drafting: Produce submittal and shop drawings (plan, elevation, section, isometric) that are visually aligned and logically organized.
• Technical Documentation: Include clear finish and hardware schedules with model numbers/pictures to ensure clarity for the production team.
• CNC Engineering (Non-Negotiable): Convert approved drawings into CNC routing files (G-code) using Mozaik or Cabinet Vision.
• Independent Project Management: Manage 2–3 full drawing packages per week autonomously while occasionally collaborating on urgent items.
• Version Control: Efficiently manage redlines and maintain strict version control across multiple concurrent projects.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years of professional drafting experience specifically in architectural millwork, cabinetry, or casework.
• Software Mastery: Mastery of Mozaik or Cabinet Vision is required; experience with Microvellum is a plus.
• Technical Non-Negotiable: Demonstrated ability to create G-code.
• Portfolio Standard: Must demonstrate clean drafting: visually aligned views, proper section indicators, and easy-to-read dimensions 
• Reliability: Highly reliable and comfortable working the 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM CST shift.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for specialty hand-built items.
• Background in Estimation to support future department scaling.
• Spanish language skills (for reporting to leadership in South America).
