Job Title: Millwork CAD/CAM Drafter (Mozaik / Cabinet Vision)

Location: Remote – Philippines Preferred

Salary: $1,500 – $2,500 USD/month

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM (CST)

Type: Independent Contractor

Role Overview

This is a Millwork CAD/CAM Drafter role focused on shop drawings, CNC production files, and production-ready casework documentation.

You will own the drafting process from submittal drawings through G-code generation, ensuring production teams receive clean, technically accurate, and manufacturing-ready files.

This is a production-focused execution role, not an architectural design position. The ideal candidate understands how millwork is actually built and can produce drawings that support efficient CNC manufacturing.

What You'll Own

  • Create detailed millwork and casework shop drawings, including:
  • Plans
  • Elevations
  • Sections
  • Isometrics
  • Produce clean, organized submittal packages and production documentation
  • Build finish schedules, hardware schedules, and technical construction notes
  • Convert approved drawings into CNC routing files (G-code)
  • Operate within Mozaik or Cabinet Vision for production engineering
  • Manage multiple drawing packages simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and version control
  • Process revisions, redlines, and production updates efficiently
  • Deliver production-ready files aligned with manufacturing standards and timelines

What We're Looking For

5+ years of drafting experience in:

  • Architectural Millwork
  • Cabinetry
  • Casework
  • Strong expertise with:
  • Mozaik
  • Cabinet Vision
  • Proven ability to create and manage G-code for CNC production
  • Strong understanding of millwork construction methods and production workflows
  • Ability to create clean, highly readable shop drawings with:
  • Proper alignment
  • Clear section indicators
  • Accurate dimensions
  • Strong attention to detail and production accuracy
  • Comfortable working the 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM CST shift
  • Highly reliable and able to work independently

Nice to Have

  • AutoCAD experience for custom or specialty-built items
  • Experience with Microvellum
  • Background in estimating or takeoffs
  • Spanish communication skills
