Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into data solutions.
- Craft data narratives that help users interpret and act on insights.
- Build and optimize SQL queries to extract and transform data from multiple sources.
- Ensure data integrity and report accuracy through thorough QA and testing.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business units to streamline reporting processes.
- Stay updated on Power BI features and best practices, continuously improving reporting standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a BI or Power BI Developer.
- Strong data storytelling and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.).
- Experience with data modeling (star/snowflake schema) and DAX.
- Solid understanding of ETL concepts and how to work with structured data.
- Experience integrating data from multiple sources (APIs, Excel, databases, etc.).
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of design when building dashboards.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
Bonus Points (Nice to Have):
- Experience with tools like SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or Python for data handling.
- Knowledge of Power Query (M Language).
- Experience working in agile environments or with product teams.
