Job Description

Mid-Level QA Automation Engineer

Must Have (Skills):

• 3-6 yrs in software testing, 2-3 yrs in automation
• Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar
• API testing (Postman or similar)
• Basic to intermediate SQL
• Agile/Scrum experience
• 1+ yr in insurance (P&C, commercial, or life)

Nice to Have (Skills):

• Guidewire or similar insurance platforms
• BDD (Cucumber, SpecFlow)
• CI/CD (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Basic programming (.NET, Java, Python, TypeScript)
• AI-assisted testing tools

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and run manual and automated tests for web and API apps
• Maintain reliable automation suites in CI
• Validate REST and SOAP APIs; check data with SQL
• Run regression, integration, and UAT testing
• Track defects to resolution
• Collaborate with Devs and POs; join Agile ceremonies
• Improve test coverage and QA processes
