Job Description
Mid-Level QA Automation Engineer
Must Have (Skills):
. 3-6 yrs in software testing, 2-3 yrs in automation
. Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar
. API testing (Postman or similar)
. Basic to intermediate SQL
. Agile/Scrum experience
. 1+ yr in insurance (P&C, commercial, or life)
Nice to Have (Skills):
. Guidewire or similar insurance platforms
. BDD (Cucumber, SpecFlow)
. CI/CD (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
. Basic programming (.NET, Java, Python, TypeScript)
. AI-assisted testing tools
Responsibilities:
. Design, build, and run manual and automated tests for web and API apps
. Maintain reliable automation suites in CI
. Validate REST and SOAP APIs check data with SQL
. Run regression, integration, and UAT testing
. Track defects to resolution
. Collaborate with Devs and POs join Agile ceremonies
. Improve test coverage and QA processes
