Mid Level Application Support Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Mid Level Application Support Specialist to join our team at SPi Global (now Straive). This full-time position is based in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila, and will play a crucial role in providing high-quality technical support and maintaining the performance of our critical business applications.

What you'll be doing

1. Providing first-line technical support and troubleshooting for a range of business applications (internal proprietary system such as trade platform, HR, accounting etc)
2. Monitoring application performance and identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner
3. Documenting and communicating technical solutions to end-users and stakeholders
4. Analysing and improving application workflows and processes to enhance efficiency
5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement new features and upgrades
6. Maintaining detailed documentation and knowledge bases for all supported applications
7. Participating in on-call support rotations and responding to critical incidents as needed.

What we're looking for

1. 5+ years of experience in a similar application support or business analysis role
2. Strong technical skills and hands-on experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues with business applications
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
4. Good understanding of business processes and the ability to identify opportunities for improvement
5. Experience in working within an ITIL or similar service management framework
6. Proficiency in SQL and data analysis skills
7. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
