Must have

·       3+ years Hands-On, Practical experience Test Automation experience using Playwright using Javascript or Typescript. Ability to design reusable test components within assigned test suites.

·       5+ years Hand-on experience using Java/Javascript/Python. Proficient in OOPs ( object-oriented test framework usage, understanding of page object models, and basic multi-threaded test execution patterns) and design patterns/design principles.

·       5+ years Hands on API testing using Playwright API, REST Assured, Karate DSL or similar frameworks and/or tools such as a Postman, ReadyAPI. Ability to design and executing API contract tests and validating request/response payloads.

·       Hands-on experience with Harness, Jenkins,Bamboo, Azure Dev Ops CI/CD (Build App and Deploy App), including reading pipeline configurations, running builds, and understanding basic delegate behavior.

·       Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git/Bitbucket, including branching strategies, pull requests, merge conflict resolution, and code review practices.

·       Good communication skills – ora and written

Nice-to-Have Skills

·       Hands on experience on Performance Testing

·       Hands-on k6 experience with arrival-rate executors (not VU-based); ability to write basic load test scenarios and interpret results under guidance.

·       Hands On JMeter: exposure to load testing design, understanding of thread groups and ramp-up/ramp-down profiles, and basic performance metric collection.

·       Hands on Appium: mobile test scaffolding for iOS/Android, implementing page object models for mobile apps, and cross-platform test reusability.

·       Hands-On MCP: exposure to AI-assisted automation, basic prompt engineering for test generation, and understanding of integration patterns with test frameworks.

Lead Automation Tester

Must have

·       7+ years Hands-On, Practical Test Automation experience

·       3+ years in a Lead, Architect, or equivalent technical-ownership role — owning automation strategy, tool evaluation/adoption decisions, and technical direction for more than one team.

·       5+ years using Playwright using JavaScript or TypeScript. Ability to design reusable test components within assigned test suites and to define reusable component/framework standards adopted across multiple teams.

·        8+ years Hands-on experience using Java/JavaScript/Python. Proficient in OOPs (object-oriented test framework usage, understanding of page object models, and basic multi-threaded test execution patterns) and design patterns/design principles. Demonstrated ability to architect a test framework from scratch — not just work within one — including tool selection, tradeoff evaluation, and a rollout/migration plan.

·        7+ years Hands on API testing using Playwright API, REST Assured, Karate DSL or similar frameworks and/or tools such as Postman, ReadyAPI. Ability to design and execute API contract tests and validate request/response payloads.

·       Hands-on experience with Harness, Jenkins, Bamboo, Azure DevOps CI/CD (Build App and Deploy App), including reading pipeline configurations, running builds, and understanding basic delegate behavior. Experience defining release/merge quality gates and CI/CD strategy across teams, and connecting pipeline design to delivery metrics (e.g., DORA — deployment frequency, lead time, change failure rate, MTTR).

·       Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git/Bitbucket, including branching strategies, pull requests, merge conflict resolution, and code review practices. Experience setting and enforcing code review standards and branching strategy across multiple teams, not just following them individually.

·       Experience mentoring or growing automation engineers — from pairing/code review up through developing their framework/architecture judgment, not just their scripting ability.

·       Good communication skills — oral and written. Demonstrated ability to communicate technical strategy and ROI to non-technical/executive stakeholders, in addition to peer-level technical communication.

Nice-to-Have Skills

·       Hands on experience on Performance Testing

o  Hands-on k6 experience with arrival-rate executors (not VU-based); ability to write basic load test scenarios and interpret results under guidance and to set performance quality gates/thresholds for a release process.

o  Hands-On JMeter: exposure to load testing design, understanding of thread groups and ramp-up/ramp-down profiles, and basic performance metric collection.

·       Hands on Appium: mobile test scaffolding for iOS/Android, implementing page object models for mobile apps, and cross-platform test reusability.

·       Hands-On MCP: exposure to AI-assisted automation, basic prompt engineering for test generation, and understanding of integration patterns with test frameworks. Experience evaluating AI-assisted/agentic testing tools for org-wide adoption (pilot design, ROI/risk assessment) is a plus.
