Application Support Specialist (Mid-Level) – SQL
BGC, Taguig | Hybrid (3x onsite per week)
Mid Shift but may have a flexible schedule in the future (may become Dayshift, Midshift, or Nightshift)
We are looking for a Mid-Level Application Support Specialist to support and maintain business-critical applications. This role involves troubleshooting production issues, performing SQL-based investigations, and ensuring smooth application operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth business application service operations by resolving incidents and service issues in a timely manner.
- Investigate and troubleshoot application issues using SQL queries and database analysis.
- Support application releases and ensure smooth transition from development to production environments.
- Follow ITIL processes including incident, problem, and change management.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to resolve production issues.
- Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency.
- Assist in automating manual tasks to improve application support processes.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–6 years experience in Application / Technical Support
- Strong SQL scripting skills (joins, queries, stored procedures, functions)
- Experience working with relational databases (RDBMS)
- Experience supporting production applications
- Cloud infrastructure experience (preferably AWS)
- Familiarity with ITIL processes (incident management, change management)
- Experience using ITSM tools such as:
- ServiceNow
- Jira
- Confluence
Nice to Have
- CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins)
- Basic knowledge of Java or Python
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
