Job Description

As a Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, customization, implementation, and support of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to deliver scalable, high-quality ERP solutions that meet business requirements and support operational excellence.

The ideal candidate possesses strong technical expertise in Dynamics AX 2009, X++ development, MorphX, SQL Server, and system integrations. You are a proactive problem solver with strong analytical skills, capable of translating complex business requirements into effective technical solutions while supporting the full software development lifecycle.

Required Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 development.
Proficiency in X++ programming language.
Experience using the MorphX Development Environment.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including:
Database design
Query optimization
Performance tuning
Stored procedures
Experience developing:
AX Customizations
Forms
Reports
Classes
Batch Jobs
Workflows
Knowledge of Application Integration Framework (AIF).
Experience with web services and enterprise system integrations.
Exposure to:
Enterprise Portal
SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
.NET Framework integrations

Functional Knowledge

Understanding of the following Microsoft Dynamics AX modules is highly preferred:

General Ledger (GL)
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Inventory Management
Procurement and Sourcing
Manufacturing
Human Resources (HR)
Payroll

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in:
Computer Science
Information Technology
Information Systems
Or a related discipline
Minimum of 3 years of Microsoft Dynamics AX development experience.
Proven experience throughout the full project lifecycle:
Requirements Analysis
Solution Design
Development
Testing
Deployment
Production Support
Experience supporting and troubleshooting Dynamics AX production environments.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Microsoft Dynamics AX Certification.
Experience upgrading AX 2009 to AX 2012 or Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).
Knowledge of Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
Experience working in ERP implementation, enhancement, and support projects.
Exposure to cloud-based Microsoft technologies and integration platforms.

Work Schedule

Employees will be expected to adhere to a flexible hybrid work schedule, with a required presence in the office for 2 day per week, allowing for customization of work hours within a specified morning or mid-shift time frame.
