Onsite – Baguio City, PH
As a Met Lab Inspector I, you will be responsible for:
- Competently perform a limited number of chemical, material, and process skill sets required for this function, which will include evaluation of materials in accordance with the Met Lab procedure and print requirement, collection of data, disposal of hazardous materials, and searches for specific causes of problems.
- Preparation of etching solution; sample preparation; metallographic analysis and mechanical testing of samples required in the acceptance of heat treated parts; interpretation of test data; preparation, issuance, and compilation of reports and records.
- Operate and maintain laboratory and analytical equipment and supplies to ensure uninterrupted, reliable results.
- Provide laboratory support (test and report data) to M&PE and other engineering personnel in conducting failure investigations, post-test analyses, and manufacturing troubleshooting.
- Participate in M&PE team organization and training.
Minimum Requirement
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering with PRC License for Chemical Technician
Experience
- 6-month to 1-year experience in related field
